PLEASURE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA

Presentation

"excellent music,

perfect performance,
mesmerized audience."

L'Echo

Introduction

Before the 1980s, it was common to see an orchestra live on stage outside of the classical music genre. There is nothing like feeling the vibration of a full string section or the wind from a complete horn section. These instruments physically move the air surrounding us.

That cannot be duplicated by recorded samples or physical modeling techniques that are currently available in computer programs and electronic synthesizers. We acknowledge that these alternatives have their respected place in music today – yet they will never replace the human performance on an acoustic instrument.

Since the creation of the Pleasure Unlimited Orchestra in 2008, the goal has been to reproduce the sound and high standard of live Soul, R&B, Funk, Pop and Jazz music as it was in the 60s, 70s and 80s. We bring back great musicians playing "real music", the way you know and love it from your favorite recordings. No corners cut or stones unturned. With highly skilled leadership and teamwork, severe attention to detail and surpassing musicianship, discipline and persistence, our goal has been accomplished and already taken us to some of the world’s most prestigious stages.

James Simpson's Pleasure Unlimited Orchestra provides you with uncompromised, authentic quality to fulfill your entertainment desires. It consists of 19 to 31 (or more) multinational musicians. Under the musical direction of James Simpson, it’s emotionally catching, world-renowned "Barry White Show" has become an international success.

The group is available in various sizes and also supports other artists on tour or for special events.
